Abuja, – The National Orientation Agency (NOA) began preliminary meetings with WEMA Bank to strengthen national identity and promote attitudinal change through the National Identity Project, a campaign approved by the Federal Executive Council.

At a strategic meeting in Abuja, NOA Director General, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, highlighted the Agency’s renewed focus on structured value reorientation. He noted that past campaigns often overlooked government accountability, which the 7-for-7 National Values Charter now addresses by outlining seven promises from government and seven duties expected of citizens.
Onilu, stressed the importance of youth engagement, citing that 76% of Nigeria’s population are young people. He also announced the return of the 7-for-7 National Values Charter Campus Debate, following the success of its pilot edition last year. He emphasised the importance of corporate organisations supporting peace initiatives, noting that without a peaceful environment, they cannot thrive or operate effectively.
