EASTER:Senator Iyabo Obasanjo Sues for Unity, Renewal in Ogun State

​ABEOKUTA – As the global Christian community commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Senator and erstwhile Commissioner for Health, Senator (Prof.) Iyabo Obasanjo, has called on the citizens of Ogun State to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and collective renewal to navigate the current socio-economic landscape.

​In a powerful Easter message released on Sunday, the Senator emphasized that the season serves as a profound reminder that “no situation is beyond renewal.” Drawing parallels between the biblical resurrection and the state’s potential for growth, she urged residents to remain steadfast in their pursuit of a more prosperous and peaceful society.

​”Easter reminds us of hope, sacrifice, love, and the triumph of light over darkness,” the statement read. “Just as the resurrection brought new life, may this season usher in fresh opportunities and progress for every home across our dear state.”
