A chilling and heartbreaking case has emerged from Colerain Township, Ohio, involving Kayvon Warren, 30, accused of orchestrating the murder of his pregnant girlfriend, India Kinamore, 26, in March 2023. Shockingly, Warren had applied for bereavement leave from his workplace to mourn Kinamore before her death—a grim premeditation.

India Kinamore was in the late stages of pregnancy, having joyfully celebrated her pregnancy with a stunning photoshoot, a gender reveal party, and a baby shower. She shared a home with Warren, the father of her unborn child, who secretly harbored financial struggles, was involved with another woman, and had ill intentions toward India and their baby.
On the very day Kinamore was due to give birth, two men hired by Warren forcibly entered their home early in the morning under the guise of a robbery. They shot India multiple times, fatally wounding both her and her unborn child. Tragically, a six-year-old son of Warren was also present in the home during the attack.

The murder investigation, which spanned two years, revealed Warren’s motives: he wanted to avoid fatherhood and hide his financial distress, including the loss of his home. He had previously pressured India to abort the pregnancy, but she refused.
Authorities arrested Warren along with his two accomplices, Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22. Prosecutors have charged them with multiple counts including aggravated murder, burglary, and felonious assault. Warren’s request for bereavement leave before India’s death highlighted the cold, calculated nature of the crime.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich expressed the profound sorrow surrounding the case, saying, “This should have been one of the happiest days of India’s life. Instead, the father of the child conspired with two others to kill her. We are committed to seeing justice done for India and her baby.”
The case, due to its complexity and the severe breach of trust and humanity, has drawn significant attention. Warren has denied some allegations, asserting he wanted the child, but the evidence continues to mount against him as the trial proceeds.
