The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has announced the restoration of voice and data services affected by undersea cable cuts.
In a statement issued on Monday by Reuben Muoka, the Director of Public Affairs at NCC, it was disclosed that services have now been restored to approximately 90 percent of their peak utilization capacities.

According to NCC, mobile network operators have assured that data and voice services will operate optimally pending the full repairs of the undersea cable.
The disruption in data and voice services in the country began on March 14, 2024, following the cut in the undersea fiber optic cable along the coastline of Ivory Coast and Senegal.
