LAS VEGAS — Incarcerated former music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight has injected a sensational new allegation into the ongoing legal proceedings against Duane “Keefe D” Davis, claiming he was offered up to $1 million to alter the historical record of the 1996 shooting that claimed the life of Tupac Shakur.
Speaking from prison via media channels, Knight stated that legal representatives associated with Davis’ defense approached him with the financial incentive. The alleged deal required Knight to publicly state that Davis was not inside the vehicle that pulled alongside Shakur’s car on the night of the fatal Las Vegas attack.
Knight, who was driving the vehicle carrying Shakur when the shots were fired, asserted that he flatly rejected the proposal. “My loyalty to Tupac can’t be compromised,” Knight maintained, adding that too many individuals are attempting to turn the tragic historical event into a public spectacle.
The explosive claim arrives as the trial against Davis continues to captivate observers worldwide. Davis, the sole defendant currently facing murder charges in connection with the decades-old homicide, has pleaded not guilty. While Knight stopped short of declaring Davis definitively guilty or innocent, he reiterated his long-held conviction that multiple conspirators orchestrated the attack, pointing once more to the alleged involvement of external elements, including corrupt or off-duty law enforcement figures.
Knight also used the platform to take aim at contemporary commentary surrounding the case, specifically targeting recent assertions made by rapper The Game. Rejecting the notion that Davis is merely a convenient scapegoat, Knight criticized public figures for exploiting the tragedy to generate media attention, emphasizing that the circumstances surrounding Shakur’s death remain a deeply serious matter rather than a cultural circus.
Legal experts note that Knight’s allegations regarding the seven-figure bribe remain unverified claims outside of official court testimony as the high-profile judicial process moves forward.
