Four persons have been reportedly burnt to d£ath in a road crash that left eight other people injured.
‘The crash involving a white Toyota hiace bus with the registration number XA690AKU happened at about 2:00 p.m on Monday, September 16, at RCC, Ogbere, Ore-Ijebu Ode expressway in Ogun State.
The Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun command, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident on Tuesday, saying 18 persons were involved in the accident.
She blamed that cause of the crash on the driver’s loss of control
Okpe said “A total of 18 people were involved which comprised of 8 male adult and 10 female adults. 1 male adult and 3 Female Adults were killed while 4 male adult, 4 female adult were injured ( burnt) while others were unhurt.”
She also disclosed that the injured victims were taken to State Hospital in Ijebu – Ode for medical attention and the corpses have been deposited at the State Hospital Morgue, Ijebu Ode.
