YENAGOA, BAYELSA STATE – The Bayelsa State Government has announced key updates regarding its ongoing recruitment processes for both the State Civil Service and the cancelled teachers’ recruitment exercise. These announcements aim to ensure fairness and provide opportunities for eligible candidates.
Supplementary Civil Service Examination Scheduled for Thursday, June 12th
The Bayelsa State Civil Service Commission has scheduled a supplementary examination for Thursday, June 12th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This examination is exclusively for candidates who encountered technical difficulties and were unable to log in and participate in the main Civil Service Recruitment Examination held on June 10th, 2025.
The Commission acknowledged minor technical glitches during the initial examination but noted its overall success, with 72% of accredited candidates successfully participating and their results already collated. However, in the interest of fairness and equal opportunity, the remaining 28% are being given this final chance.
Important Warning: Only candidates who did not participate in the earlier examination are permitted to take part in this supplementary exercise. Any candidate found to have violated this rule will be automatically disqualified.
Candidates are to use their existing username and password for the supplementary examination and are urged to strictly observe all examination rules.
The Commission has emphasized that no further examination will be conducted after this date.
