The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has issued a call to Nigerians, particularly the youth, advising them against heeding or aligning with certain former leaders and politicians whom he accuses of lacking patriotism and nationalism.
In a statement released on Sunday and personally signed by Maharaj Ji, which was made available to our correspondent in Ibadan, Oyo State, he also alleged that some past officeholders were responsible for the current hardships faced by the masses, deflecting blame onto President Bola Tinubu.
Recent protests erupted in various parts of the state due to economic challenges, as reported by Valid View Network.
Maharaj Ji urged Nigerians to delve into the nation’s challenges and ascertain the government’s failure to ensure security, provide food, and deliver essential services.
He emphasized that President Tinubu’s administration is not military and may require time to address security concerns effectively.
However, Maharaj Ji acknowledged positive steps taken by the government in the past eight months.

Highlighting the impact of unpatriotic actions, Maharaj Ji pointed out the role of herdsmen in attacking farms and farmers, which has adversely affected food production.
Addressing transparency and accountability, Maharaj Ji called for disclosure regarding the allocation of funds to various commodity associations over the past two decades.
He also demanded explanations from recipients of constituency project funds and local government chairpersons regarding project execution and fund utilization.
Regarding agricultural and housing allocations to state governments, Maharaj Ji questioned the utilization of funds, emphasizing the importance of empowering people for economic progress.
He cautioned the public against being manipulated into protests or strikes by politicians or neocolonialists, urging whistleblowers to expose individuals with illicit wealth.
Maharaj Ji reiterated his call to Nigerians, particularly the youth, advising them against aligning with leaders who fail to translate their visions into reality and instead create hardships for the populace while shifting blame onto President Tinubu.
