The 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his beloved mother-in-law, Alhaja Mujidat Abeke Ogunnaike (popularly known as Oluaye), describing her as a great woman, good mother, political powerhouse and a pillar of strength to many in Ogun State.
In a statement released by his media aide, Afolabi Orekoya, today, Adebutu said the loss of Alhaja Ogunnaike, mother of his wife, Chief (Mrs) Adenike Adebutu is both personal and profound. He offered heartfelt prayers and comfort to his wife, Yeye Adenike Adebutu and the entire Ogunnaike family during this difficult time, noting the late matriarch’s pivotal role as a source of unity, guidance, and love.
