North Korea Fires More Missiles

North Korea has fired another barrage of short-range ballistic missiles into the sea, escalating tensions with South Korea just as Washington signals interest in renewed engagement with Pyongyang.

North Korea launched about 10 missiles on Thursday, according to South Korea’s military, after rejecting a US decision to scale back joint military exercises with Seoul.

The launches have complicated President Donald Trump’s overtures toward North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
