Imo State is set to enter a new phase of medical technology today as the Imo Specialist Hospital prepares to perform its first robotic-assisted surgical procedure.
The development would make the hospital a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery in Nigeria’s Southeast. ValidViewNetwork reports that the procedure is scheduled for Friday, August 21.
