​Jose Mourinho has officially begun his second tenure as Real Madrid manager, arriving at the club’s training facility this week to spearhead a cultural overhaul at the Santiago Bernabéu. The 63-year-old, appointed in June to replace Álvaro Arbeloa, faces the immediate task of instilling discipline in a dressing room that has struggled with internal harmony and a lack of silverware over the past two seasons.

​President Florentino Pérez is reportedly looking to replicate the “siege mentality” Mourinho famously cultivated during his initial 2010–2013 stint, during which he challenged Pep Guardiola’s legendary Barcelona side and secured a historic 100-point La Liga title.
