Andy Burnham Speaks Out

Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham criticised the proposal. He said Infantino is:

“The wrong man to lead the organisation.”

His remarks have become one of the strongest public criticisms of FIFA’s current leadership.

FIFA Yet To Respond

FIFA has not issued a formal response to England’s expected withdrawal of support.Infantino has also not publicly addressed the growing opposition. No official timetable has been announced for resolving the dispute. The issue continues to attract attention across international football, ValidViewNetwork reports.

Whether this develops into a broader global movement or remains a European challenge will become clearer in the months ahead, but the controversy has already intensified scrutiny of how football’s most powerful institution is governed.
