PORT HARCOURT – Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has fulfilled his promise to reward any woman willing to marry his autistic son, popularly known as Aboy. The wedding, which took place over the weekend, follows a viral announcement by the cleric offering a life-changing dowry to a “healthy” partner for his son.
In a display of his trademark philanthropy, Apostle Chinyere presented the newlywed couple with a ₦10 million cash gift, a fully furnished house, and an all-expenses-paid overseas vacation.

Addressing the congregation and guests during the ceremony, the outspoken clergyman expressed his gratitude to the bride for looking past his son’s disability. He further pledged an additional ₦20 million to the couple after ten years of marriage, adding a poignant note that the reward stands “if the boy is still alive,” reflecting his long-standing concerns for his son’s future welfare.

Apostle Chinyere, who established Nigeria’s first free school for children with autism, has often used his platform to advocate for the inclusion of persons with special needs. This union, described by church members as a “marriage of compassion,” marks a significant personal milestone for the OPM leader, who has spent decades sponsoring mass weddings for the less privileged.
