2027 Presidency: Oluwo Calls on North to Support Tinubu’s Re-election

The 2027 presidential race is already drawing arguments around regional support, political rotation and national unity, with the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, now calling on Northern leaders to support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

The monarch urged Northern leaders to back Tinubu’s re-election, saying such support would promote fairness and strengthen unity in the country.
