Yesterday as Al-Nassr lost 1-0 to Al-Weda in the King Cup of Champions semi final, Ronaldo lost his cool again and launched a verbal volley on the coaching crew.
Wehda forward Jean -David Beauguel scored a stunning bicycle kick to deny Ronaldo and his team victory.
With Al-Nassr trailing behind Al-Wehda and as the two teams walked off at the break, Ronaldo was seen trudging towards the bench before angrily remonstrating with his own coaching team. Apparently sad that he was losing out in winning the King Cup to complement his past achievements, the veteran apeeared to have transfered his frustration to the coaching crew.
The veteran, who had won the Champions League and various titles in England, Spain and Italy. He had expressed that he left Europe to win new prizes as he had achieved “everything he set out” to win during stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
“I am fortunate that I have won everything I set out to win in European football,” the forward said shortly after his lucrative switch to Al-Nassr had been confirmed. “I feel now that this is the right moment to share my experience in Asia.”
