President Bola Tinubu departed Abuja for Paris, France on Tuesday morning to attend the summit for a new global financial pact.
The two-day summit which holds on Thursday and Friday seeks to explore “opportunities to restore fiscal space to countries that face difficult short-term financial challenges”.
The visit to France is President Tinubu’s first official trip abroad since he was sworn in as Nigeria’s president on May 29.
Among officials at the airport to see off the President are, the newly appointed NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, the SGF, George Akume.
The president was accompanied on the trip by members of the presidential policy advisory council and senior government officials.
He is expected to return to the country on Saturday.
