The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly in the 9th assembly, Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has been re-elected to serve as Speaker of the 10th Ogun State House of Assembly.
Hon. Oluomo was elected unopposed as Speaker following the inauguration of the 10th assembly on Tuesday.
Oluomo who represents Ifo 1 State Constituency, was elected for the second time to lead the Assembly, having served in that capacity for the past four years.

Hon. Bolanle Ajayi was also elected unopposed as deputy speaker of the house.

Earlier there were tension at the assembly complex as journalists and other were sent out by security operatives.
The inauguaration which was schedule for 10 am did not start until ten minutes before 2.
