MODAKEKE – The Okuu-Omoni community in Modakeke, Osun State, has been thrown into a state of mourning following the sudden transition of its traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Taiwo Odedoyin.
According to reliable sources close to the palace, the monarch passed away on Monday after a very brief illness. It was gathered that the royal father complained of feeling unwell on Sunday, but his health rapidly deteriorated within 24 hours, leading to his untimely demise.
While the atmosphere around the palace remains somber, official details regarding the circumstances of his passing are still being kept under wraps in line with traditional rites.
