NOA DG, NIPR President Confront National Demarketing in July 2026 Edition of ValidViewNetwork Monthly Global Discourse

Nigeria is experiencing a troubling communication crisis: a growing national habit of amplifying negative narratives while ignoring or downplaying positive developments. At home and abroad, many Nigerians instinctively highlight failures, scandals, and pessimistic projections. This reflexive pessimism has become a national behaviour, shaping how citizens see themselves and how the world sees Nigeria. The second Monthly Global Discourse of ValidViewNetwork will focus on confronting this rising culture of pessimism and negative self‑projection. The Global Discourse will hold on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (WAT) and will be streamed virtually via Zoom and YouTube.

The Monthly Global Discourse is ValidViewNetwork’s signature global conversation platform conceived to bridge the gap between knowledge and action by creating a forum where global perspectives meet local realities. The second edition is dedicated to shifting the national narrative from one of self-inflicted reputational damage to constructive, solution-driven engagement, ValidViewNetwork reports. The theme of the upcoming session is “National Demarketing and the Nigerian Psyche: Resetting Nigeria’s Public Mindset.”

This second edition proudly features Mr. Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director‑General, National Orientation Agency, alongside Dr. Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of Council, NIPR, as our Distinguished Discussants for this critical global discourse.

Mr. Lanre Issa‑Onilu, Director‑General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), is uniquely positioned to lead this critical global conversation.
