The Ogun State Government has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent message circulating on social media platforms falsely claiming that Governor Dapo Abiodun is offering N10,000 cash palliatives to people across the state.
The scam message includes a link prompting individuals to apply for the alleged palliatives and encourages them to share the information for others to benefit.
In a statement signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Honorable Kayode Akinmade, the state government urged members of the public to disregard the message entirely.

The government categorically disclaimed the messages and described the link as fraudulent and unauthorized. It cautioned that any attempt to access and provide personal information through the link poses significant risks to individuals.
The government emphasized that authentic government information regarding its intervention programs and initiatives is usually disseminated through official channels, including its website, press releases, and official social media platforms.
