Nigerian streamer Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, better known as Peller, has gifted award-winning singer Tiwa Savage $3,000, approximately ₦4 million — during a TikTok livestream, explaining that the gesture was his way of repaying her for a kindness she showed him before he became successful.
The gift moment turned even more memorable when the singer responded by declaring herself godmother to Peller’s unborn child.

Peller showered Tiwa Savage with virtual roses, doughnuts and other TikTok gifts during the livestream on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
“I’m gifting you because you were the first person to put me on a private jet,” he said. “Now that I’ve made money, it’s time for me to start taking care of you”.
The reported $3,000 represents the estimated value of the virtual gifts, not necessarily the amount Tiwa Savage will receive after TikTok’s applicable deductions and conversion rules.
THE HISTORY
The friendship between Peller and Tiwa Savage dates back to 2024. Tiwa had joined one of Peller’s TikTok live sessions when the streamer spoke openly about his dream of travelling on a private jet.
The singer later gave him the opportunity to experience the luxury, inviting him aboard her private aircraft alongside her son, Jamil .
