KADUNA — Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has officially named the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the upcoming 2027 governorship election.
Making the announcement following widespread consultations and reflection, Governor Sani described the choice as a firm commitment to institutional competence, social equity, and inclusive governance across the state’s diverse populace.
Adams, an accomplished public servant, tax administrator, and professional accountant holding credentials including FCTI, FNIM, and CNA, earned widespread acclaim for transforming the state’s revenue generation framework through transparency and innovation. Governor Sani emphasized that his choice transcends political tokenism, anchoring instead on merit, proven integrity, and a shared vision to consolidate peace, infrastructural development, and economic growth across all 23 local government areas.
