Ogun 2027: Senator Adeola Clears APC Screening as Consensus Candidate

ABUJA – The governorship ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (popularly known as Yayi) gained significant momentum today as he was officially screened and cleared as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus candidate for the 2027 Ogun State gubernatorial election.

​The high-stakes screening exercise took place at the Kaduna Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja. It was presided over by the APC Governorship Screening Committee, led by the party’s Deputy National Chairman (South), Dr. Obi Okoye.
