​Tragedy in Dubai: Brazilian Model Dies in 27th-Floor Fall

​DUBAI — Authorities in Dubai have launched a comprehensive investigation following the tragic death of Kauana Bilhar, a 27-year-old Brazilian model and digital influencer, who fell to her death from a 27th-floor apartment.

​The incident, which has drawn international attention, occurred while Bilhar was visiting the United Arab Emirates. Her passing was formally announced on July 7 by her mother, Darla Bilhar, who shared an emotional tribute to her daughter on social media.

​”There are no words capable of expressing the magnitude of the longing you left behind,” her mother wrote. “Today you are no longer by my side as I dreamed, but you will live forever within me.”

​Bilhar, who commanded a following of over 20,000 on Instagram, was widely known for documenting her travels and lifestyle. Just weeks prior to her death, she had celebrated her engagement to her partner, Barbara Abrantes, who reportedly alerted the family to the tragedy.

​As the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall continues, local authorities have not yet determined the official cause of death. Officials are reportedly exploring all possibilities, including the potential for an accident, suicide, or foul play, such as homicide or femicide.

​In the wake of the news, the influencer’s social media platforms became a target for speculation and harsh criticism. This prompted a plea from her mother, who traveled to Dubai to coordinate with investigators and oversee the repatriation of her daughter’s remains to Brazil.

​”My daughter deserves respect,” Darla Bilhar stated, urging the public to refrain from spreading unfounded stories and malicious comments. “She can no longer respond to the accusations, the stories that are being created about her. It is with my soul in pieces that I come to speak out.”
