WHY IT MATTERS
Farm attacks are a grim and recurring reality in South Africa, where farmers are often targeted for their perceived wealth, isolation, and vulnerability.
The brutality of this particular attack—the mutilation of a man’s ears—adds a layer of horror that is difficult to comprehend.
For the victim, the physical and psychological scars will last a lifetime.
For his family and community, the fear is immediate and palpable.
The police have made arrests. The investigation continues. But the question that lingers for every farmer in South Africa is a simple one: who will be next? ValidViewNetwork reports.
