Secret Service Probes Escalated Threat Against Barron Trump by Iranian TV

The United States Secret Service has launched an investigation into a provocative broadcast by Iranian state television that explicitly targets Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump.

Aired over the weekend by the state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)—an outlet whose leadership is directly appointed by Iran’s supreme authority—the nearly three-minute segment marks a sharp and alarming escalation in hostility. Opening with a blunt English-language graphic reading, “Where to kill Barron Trump?!”, the clip proceeds to highlight locations the 20-year-old frequently visits, including New York City’s Trump Tower, before closing with a reference to an active $10 million bounty.

• The Broadcast: Produced by state media aligned with hard-line factions, the video attempts to outline security vulnerabilities and details regarding the young adult’s routine.

• Secret Service Response: Agency spokesperson Nate Herring confirmed awareness of the footage, stating that officials actively investigate any material interpreted as a threat toward protectees while withholding tactical specifics for operational security.

• Broader Context: Federal law enforcement sources note this footage belongs to an ongoing campaign of retaliatory intimidation by Tehran, which has steadily intensified since the outbreak of the current US-Israeli conflict with Iran and the death of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in February.

President Trump has previously spoken out regarding continuous threats to his life, referencing tight security protocols and elaborate protective movements implemented by federal agencies. While previous Iranian propaganda targeted First Lady Melania Trump, this incident represents the first public instance where their youngest son has been directly singled out by state media channels.
