Ondo Govt Engages Experts to Trace Mysterious Odor Across Akure, Ondo Town

​The Ondo State Government has mobilized a high-powered panel of analytical and environmental chemistry experts to investigate the source of an unusual and offensive odor currently pervading Akure, Ondo Town, and neighboring communities.

​The initiative is spearheaded by the Ministry of Environment under the leadership of the Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Tob Loko, Ph.D., following direct directives from Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to safeguard public health and swiftly resolve the environmental concern.

​To tackle the issue through rigorous scientific analysis, the state has convened a specialized advisory team consisting of:
