Abeokuta,Ogun State — In a move aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing service delivery, the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, has approved the constitution of new boards for several key agencies in the state.

This development was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
The newly constituted boards are as follows:
Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB):
- Hon. Ifede Joshua – Chairman
- Barr. Femi Odufowokan – Member
- Hon. Isiaka Aderounmu – Member
- Abiodun Donald Ajayi – Member
- Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun – Member
- Mrs. Kemi Adeogun – Ex-Officio Member

Ogun State Housing Corporation:

Governor Abiodun, in previous statements, has emphasized the importance of efficient boards in driving the state’s development agenda, particularly in critical sectors such as education, housing, water supply, traffic management, and agriculture. The new appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and renewed commitment to these agencies.
The Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, congratulated the newly appointed members and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working diligently towards the advancement of Ogun State.
