​The child, identified by authorities as Klieber Morán, was extracted from the ruins of the Los Corales Garden 1 building in the state of La Guaira. His rescue on Tuesday serves as a rare success story in an operation that has largely transitioned from rescue to recovery, as experts note that the critical “golden period” for finding survivors under rubble typically ends within 72 hours.

Interim President Delcy Rodríguez hailed the survival as a “source of hope for our people,” and Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez confirmed that the toddler was immediately given first-aid before being transported to a hospital in the capital, Caracas, where his vital signs were reported as stable.
