Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins has thrown his weight behind Seyi Tinubu, suggesting the entrepreneur and youth leader possesses the requisite credentials to steer the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the future.
Speaking as a guest on John Obi Mikel’s The Obi One Podcast, the former Inter Milan and Newcastle United forward emphasized that Nigerian football administration requires vibrant, younger leadership attuned to the yearnings of the populace.
“I think Seyi Tinubu can be the president of NFF. He’s young and understands what Nigerians want. He’s not the president yet, but he’s making efforts,” Martins stated.
