Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the immediate release of two buses, a 32-seater and an 18-seater for Shooting Stars Sports Club following their impressive victory over Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie.
The approval marks the club’s first appearance in continental competition in 27 years.

The approval followed the club’s impressive victory over Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie.
A Historic Return to Continental Football
The development comes as Shooting Stars make their first appearance in continental competition in 27 years.
The Oluyole Warriors, as they are popularly known, are seeking to revive the glory associated with the “Darling Club of Oyo State”.
