The Lagos State Government has released the merit admission list for candidates who participated in the 2026 screening test for admission into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education announced that successful candidates can now check their admission status through the Lagos State Examinations Board portal. The release follows the completion of the screening exercise for applicants seeking entry into the state-owned schools.
According to the statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, candidates who made the merit list should visit the portal from Tuesday, 22 July 2026, to confirm their admission status and complete the required process.
The ministry further instructed admitted candidates to proceed to their respective schools from Monday, 31 August 2026, to collect admission letters and finalize registration.
It congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to approach the opportunity with commitment and diligence, while restating the state’s commitment to transparent, merit-based admission into quality learning institutions.
