Arising from his travail in Zimbabwe, Folashade Oshun has written a note to the investigative journalist, David Hundeyin.
ValidViewNetwork had earlier reported the travail of Hundeyin when he visited the African country recently.
In the note, Oshun encouraged Hundeyin to be careful and watch his back always
“Dear David Hundeyin. Your recent ordeal in Zimbabwe refers.
Please avoid everything and anything that will take you outside your base to come to any part of Africa for now. If Nnamdi Kanu could be picked up as easily as a snail on the surface of a rock whilst being on Africa’s soil and forcibly brought back to Nigeria only to end up in some underground cell somewhere, it can happen to you with these soulless people you have been fighting and exposing. They would do anything to have a piece of your hide.
Investigate your sources thoroughly lest they use them to lure you into an ambush. Ęni to jin si koto. O kò ara iyoku l’ògbòn. Ògbòn òlògbòn ni o si ni ję a pe agbalagba ni wéré. Ply your trade where you are currently guaranteed the highest form of protection and do not lose guard and foolishly begin to socialize anyhow and with anyone. Your assignment is too delicate for you to wilfully walk into any trap with your eyes wide shut. Fírí-fírí lo ri yęn. Be careful out there, brother, and do not abandon commonsense. Wishing you the best.”
