High Chief Rasidi Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, has withdrawn the lawsuit filed against members of the Olubadan-in-Council.
The suit, which concerned the beaded crown worn before the passing of the late 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, has now been withdrawn.

With the withdrawal of the suit, the path is now clear for the enthronement of the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
