The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Alumni Association (FUNAABAAS) has joined eminent groups and personalities in congratulating the newly installed Seriki of Igangan Land, Alhaji Jamiu Adebayo Badmus who is a proud Alumnus of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and notable member of the Alumni Association.
The congratulatory message was contained in a message made available by the Global President of the Alumni Association, Ambassador Bolaji Gbadamosi.
The statement partly read , “On behalf of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta Alumni Association (FUNAABAAS), I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Alumnus, Alhaji Jamiu Adebayo Badmos, on his well-deserved installation as the Seriki of Igangan land by HRM Oba Abdulrafiu Adeniyi Olaniyi Ariwoola (Aako II), the Asigangan of Igangan land, with the full support of all traditional rulers of the seven kingdoms of Ibarapa land. Igangan is a prominent town in Ibarapa Northern LGA of Oyo State”.
“As Seriki of Igangan land, Alhaji Badmos assumes a pivotal role in supporting the Asigangan in governance, ensuring peace and order, representing the interests of the people, and fostering social and economic development in Igangan land and beyond”.
Gbadamosi further eulogised Badmos and affirmed : “This prestigious title is a testament to his exemplary leadership, dedication to community service, and unwavering commitment to the progress of society.
Alhaji Badmos has been a strong pillar of our Alumni Association, demonstrating his deep passion for its growth, even as a former Chairman of Odeda branch and contender for the Presidency of FUNAABAAS in 2019.
We are proud to see him attain this noble position, which reflects his integrity, service, and dedication to leadership.
While wishing him a successful tenure, The Global President charged the newly installed Seriki of Igangan Land to ensure an impactful leadership, ValidViewNetwork reports.
