The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday, June 8, 2026, hauled two individuals and a corporate entity before the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over an alleged N560 million theft.
The defendants, Olivia Dike and Azeez Muniru Siyanbola, were docked alongside a company, Eniafelamo Global Seven Nigeria Limited, before Justice R.O. Oshodi. They face a three-count charge bordering on stealing and dishonest conversion of funds.
The Charges
According to the prosecution, the defendants—alongside one Taoheed Lekan Abdrahman, who is currently at large—conspired to steal a cumulative sum of N560,000,000. The alleged criminal activities spanned between July 2024 and February 2025.
The anti-graft agency maintained that the stolen funds belonged to Peachland West Africa Limited and Iyke Stephen Okpaji. The offense violates Sections 278(1)(b) and 285(9) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
One of the counts read to the court stated:
“That you, Olivia Dike, Azeez Muniru Siyanbola, Eniafelamo Global Seven Nigeria Limited and one Taoheed Lekan Abdrahman (at large), between July, 2024 and February, 2025 at Lagos… dishonestly stole and converted to your use the cumulative sum of N560,000,000.00… property of Peachland West Africa Limited and Iyke Stephen Okpaji.”
Defendants Plead Not Guilty
When the charges were read, both Dike and Siyanbola pleaded “not guilty.”
Following the pleas, EFCC prosecution counsel, Nnaemeka Omewa, requested the court to fix a definitive date for the commencement of the trial. Omewa also prayed the court to remand the defendants at a designated Correctional Centre pending the determination of the case.
Court Orders Remand
Justice Oshodi turned down immediate bail and ordered the remand of the defendants. The judge directed that Olivia Dike be kept in a female custodial facility, while Azeez Muniru Siyanbola is to be held at a maximum-security Correctional Centre.
The matter has been adjourned until July 10, 2026, for the hearing of the bail application and the commencement of the trial.
