Cheating Confrontation Turns Violent as Sisters Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend

​A routine dispute over alleged infidelity took a bloody turn in Mhlasini, KwaZulu-Natal, after a 23-year-old woman and her 27-year-old sister allegedly ambushed and severely assaulted her boyfriend.

​According to private security and emergency service provider Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), officers were urgently dispatched to a local residence following reports of a violent domestic altercation. Upon arrival, emergency personnel discovered a 23-year-old man bleeding profusely from extensive head and facial wounds.

​Police and responders established that the confrontation began after the victim unexpectedly encountered his girlfriend in the company of another man at an external location. An argument quickly flared up over suspected infidelity, prompting the man to walk away and return to his home.

​Investigators revealed that the woman subsequently contacted her older sister. Together, the two female suspects tracked the victim to his residence and launched a vicious attack. During the brawl, the pair allegedly smashed glass beer bottles over the man’s head and stabbed him repeatedly.

​Cornered and losing a significant amount of blood, the victim managed to arm himself with a knife in self-defense, which forced the two women to flee the scene on foot.

​Swift Apprehension and Sudden Twist

​While paramedics worked quickly to stabilize the severely injured man, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) officers initiated an immediate search of the surrounding area. Both suspects were tracked down and apprehended at separate locations within Mhlasini. Authorities successfully recovered the weapon and broken glass fragments from the crime scene.

​Despite the severity of the violent encounter and his injuries, the narrative took an unexpected turn when the victim later opted to reconcile with his partner. Declining to pursue formal legal action or press criminal charges, the man chose to drop the matter, resulting in both sisters being released from custody without charge.
