President Tinubu Praises Honourable Adebisi Yusuff as Reliable APC Leader in Alimosho

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has warmly congratulated Honourable Adebisi Yusuff, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, on his birthday, commending him as a dependable political ally, grassroots mobilizer, and humanitarian. Yusuff, who served in the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency 1 for 12 years (2011-2023) and as Chairman of Ipaja/Ayobo Local Council Development Area, has played a pivotal role in strengthening the APC’s grassroots presence under the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda. President Tinubu highlighted Yusuff’s contributions as a lawmaker, financial expert, and chairman of key committees, including public accounts and commerce, as well as his philanthropic work through the Prince Hope Turns To Reality Foundation (PHTRF), which supports vulnerable communities in Alimosho.

Regarding political leadership succession, Bisi Yusuf has emerged as the new leader of the Mandate Movement in Alimosho, a key political group within the APC in the area, replacing the former influential figure Rauf Aregbesola. Yusuf, a multi-term Lagos State House of Assembly member, is recognized as Aregbesola’s main political inheritor in Alimosho, consolidating his influence through close relationships with prominent political figures and grassroots support. His leadership follows the resolution of a significant internal crisis within the APC Mandate Movement in Alimosho, which had previously fractured party cohesion. The group urges Yusuf to lead inclusively and unite the factions to strengthen APC’s prospects in the region.

Yusuf has also been active in electoral and community development efforts, praising the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) for peaceful local government elections and emphasizing priorities such as road infrastructure, education, and healthcare to complement national economic reforms led by President Tinubu. Politically, he remains a key figure driving grassroots momentum for the President’s administration and his re-election campaign for 2027. His philanthropic initiatives through PHTRF further underscore his commitment to grassroots empowerment and healthcare improvement in Alimosho.
