Chief Kensington Adebutu, widely celebrated as Baba Ijebu, marked his remarkable 90th birthday with a grand thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Iperu, Ogun State. Born on October 24, 1935, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, Chief Adebutu’s extraordinary journey began humbly as a clerk at Cable and Wireless Limited in 1956. His visionary spirit led him to establish what would become Nigeria’s premier lottery business, Premier Lotto, popularly known as Baba Ijebu. Under his leadership, the business has grown into a diversified empire spanning agriculture, petroleum, hospitality, real estate, manufacturing, and entertainment.

The 90th birthday celebration was marked by heartfelt thanksgiving at his hometown church, highlighting his deep faith and community roots, with festive activities radiating throughout Iperu and beyond.
