Accused NFL Investment Scheme Operator Dies at 24

​HARRISON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Mohamed Coulibaly, the 24-year-old entrepreneur at the center of a high-profile financial investigation involving millions in alleged losses among professional athletes, was found dead under sudden circumstances last week.

​According to the Harrison Township Police Department, officers discovered Coulibaly’s body in the swimming pool of a home in South Jersey. Authorities responded to the property following a welfare check requested by concerned family members. ​Among the most vocal victims was former New York Giants linebacker Tae Crowder, who stated publicly that he invested his entire $500,000 career savings into the venture after meeting Coulibaly through a mutual social circle. Crowder and several other athletes maintained they never saw a return on their capital. Pitch decks associated with Coulibaly’s firm, Motion Ventures, reportedly featured other prominent NFL names and leveraged connections to high-profile sports figures to build widespread trust within athletic communities.
