​Addressing journalists following an extensive inspection tour of major infrastructure projects across the nation’s capital, Wike defended the tactical maneuvers deployed by the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) G5 bloc during the 2023 polls. He maintained that their primary objective was neutralizing Atiku’s stronghold in the South-South by shifting regional ballots.
