The Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has lost his polling unit 045 in Anifowose, Ikeja to the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress.
Sanwo-olu polled 29 votes as against Rhodes-Vivour 18 votes while Olajide Adeniran popularly refers to as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party got two votes.

The results were announced by the presiding officer, Abiodun Daniel.

Meanwhile, there were reports that the election was marred by voters apathy in some parts of the state as well as violence.
