Today, his birthday, stands as a radiant moment in our global community, it rises with a brilliance that outshines the ordinary because it carries the celebration of a man whose life has become a compass of truth, faith, courage, and national influence.

In a world often shaken by uncertainty, Rev. Olanrewaju Ogundipe remains a steadfast symbol of faith and resilience. He has walked with a grace that defies storms and a conviction that inspires generations. In his own heartfelt reflections, he wrote: “Lord, despite the vicissitudes of life, Your faithfulness has never failed me… I ask for nothing but to say thank You.” These words reveal a man whose journey is anchored in gratitude, whose strength flows from divine mercy, and whose life is a testimony of grace that has carried him through storms, valleys, joys, and trials.

In another heartfelt declaration he stated: “I have counted the years; God has counted the miracles… Every breath is a gift, every scar a testimony, every sunrise another covenant of mercy.” His humility, devotion, and reverence for God continue to inspire countless individuals across different spheres of life.

Describing the celebrant, the Founder & CEO of ValidViewNetwork, Kayode Ogunjobi PhD, FHEA, FFAN  stated: “Rev. Olanrewaju Ogundipe is a rare gift to humanity—an embodiment of integrity, humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to truth. His leadership as Chairman of our Advisory Council has strengthened our mission and expanded our global reach. He is a source of inspiration to many across different spheres of life, and ValidViewNetwork is profoundly blessed to have him as a guiding light.” These words capture the essence of a man whose influence transcends borders, whose voice strengthens institutions, and whose legacy continues to shape the future of knowledge, leadership, and national development.

Ogunjobi stated further : “His superlative role in the maiden edition of the ValidViewNetwork Monthly Global Discourse remains one of the most defining moments in the organisation’s intellectual journey. As Chairman of the Advisory Council, he formally declared the maiden session open, setting a powerful tone for what has become one of ValidViewNetwork’s most important contributions to global dialogue. His leadership strengthened the platform’s credibility, broadened its reach, and deepened its intellectual value, he asserted.

Ogunjobi described Ogundipe as a symphony of faith, service, courage, resilience and excellence whose journey continues to inspire generations, uplift communities, and illuminate the path of truth for all who seek a better world.

Eulogising him further he stated : “His devotion to God, his commitment to ethical journalism, his pastoral calling, and his unwavering dedication to nation-building stand as enduring pillars of his remarkable legacy”.

While appreciating the richness, timeliness and depth of his write- ups on various platforms, Ogunjobi affirmed that his write-ups are a composite of many valid and potent factors.

His words : “His writings whether on religious or national issues carry a richness that is unmistakable, each line layered with wisdom, spiritual depth, and lived experience. What makes his expressions truly exceptional is their timeliness: he writes at the exact moment when his words are needed that a times I wonder how he is able to do that with his age, offering strength in seasons of uncertainty and perspective in moments of reflection. Every sentence in his write-ups is deliberate and powerful, every thought deeply rooted, and every message arrives with the weight of truth and the warmth of grace”.

May this new chapter of your life unfold with even greater grace, deeper wisdom, and heights yet unimagined. You have soared with honour, led with conviction, and inspired with a purity of purpose that continues to touch lives across nations.

As you step into another year of divine favour, may strength be multiplied unto you, may your influence widen, and may your light shine even brighter in every sphere you touch.

Reverend Lanre Ogundipe is a respected media leader, seasoned administrator, and influential voice in African journalism. He currently serves as the Chairman of the ValidViewNetwork Advisory Council, where he provides strategic direction, institutional oversight, and high-level guidance to the organisation’s public-interest engagements and knowledge-driven initiatives.

A distinguished journalist by training and practice, Mr. Ogundipe has held some of the most prestigious leadership positions in the media landscape. He is a former President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), where he championed press freedom, professional ethics, and the welfare of journalists across the country. His tenure strengthened the institutional capacity of the union and deepened its role in national discourse.

His influence extended beyond Nigeria when he was elected President of the African Union of Journalists (AUJ). In this continental role, he advanced cross-border collaboration, promoted ethical journalism across Africa, and worked to elevate the standards and safety of media practitioners throughout the region. His leadership helped position African journalism as a critical pillar of democratic development and civic accountability, ValidViewNetwork reports.
