Tired of Waiting for Jobs? FG Opens Free Solar Installation Training for Nigerians

There is a point at which complaining about unemployment must give way to learning something that can make you employable.

Nigeria’s job crisis is real.

So is the frustration of young people who send applications for months without receiving a response.

That is why young Nigerians should pay attention to a new Federal Government-backed opportunity to receive free training in solar photovoltaic installation.

The programme offers practical training in Lagos and Abeokuta, with participants also eligible for COREN certification.

The training is being delivered through the Siemens Energy Education and Development, SEED, initiative, with support from the Nigerian Energy Support Programme.

This is not just another seminar

The difference matters.

This is not simply an online webinar where participants listen to speeches, collect attendance certificates and return home.

The programme involves three weeks of intensive, hands-on solar PV installation training.

Participants are expected to receive both theoretical instruction and practical exposure.

For a country where demand for reliable alternative energy continues to create opportunities, solar installation is a skill worth taking seriously.

It can lead to employment.

It can support self-employment.

It can also become a foundation for a small technical business.

That is the bigger point.

Young Nigerians should stop waiting for only one kind of opportunity
