President-elect, Bola Tinubu is expected back in the country today.
Tinubu’s return to Nigeria was confirmed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga on Monday.
Onanuga in a tweet disclosed that the President-elect has been on vacation in France.
The President-elect is expected to be received at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja by 2pm.
Tinubu’s absence from Nigeria’s has been a subject of controversy.
Reports had it that on March 22, Tinubu was secretly ferried abroad for medical treatment.
The reports alleged that Tinubu took ill after months of uninterrupted political campaigns across the nation.
But, Tinubu’s media team dismissed the narrative, stressing that he traveled to Paris for rest after a hectic campaign season.
