Popular TikTok sensation and live-streamer Habeeb Hamzat, universally known as Peller, has officially taken his relationship with content creator Elizabeth Aminata (Jarvis) to the next level. In a colorful family introduction ceremony held in Benin City, Edo State, Peller completed the traditional marriage rites by paying Jarvis’s bride price.
The social media star shared the milestone with his millions of followers on Sunday afternoon via an Instagram video showcase, effectively signaling his transition from the bachelor’s market.
A Fusion of Culture and Romance
The family introduction ceremony featured a vibrant blend of traditional aesthetics. Peller broke away from his casual streaming persona, donning a white shirt draped in a classic George wrapper and accented by coral beads. Jarvis complemented the look in a rich red wrapper, matching coral accessories, and an ornate, beaded crown.
Reflecting on the milestone, Peller captioned his post with heartfelt enthusiasm:
”Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love. A beautiful journey has officially begun, and I’m grateful to both families for their blessings. She said ‘yes’ to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together. Officially off the market.”
The development follows weeks after Peller’s viral beachfront proposal to Jarvis at the luxury La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana earlier this month. While Peller had previously presented Jarvis with a ring in late 2024, Jarvis clarified at the time that it was a promise ring, maintaining that they were pacing their timeline toward legal and traditional marriage.
From Content Partners to ‘Jarpel 2026’
Affectionately dubbed “Jarpel” by their extensive fanbase, the duo originally rose to digital prominence through collaborative comedy skits and collaborative interactive TikTok livestreams—notably driven by Jarvis’s breakout viral persona as Nigeria’s premier “AI robot” content creator.
Their real-life romance, however, has not been without public scrutiny. The relationship weathered a highly publicized, emotional rough patch in January when Peller announced an internet-shaking breakup during a live broadcast, followed by formal apologies to Jarvis’s family. The pair quietly reconciled shortly after, culminating in their recent double engagements and family integration.
Mixed Receptions in the Digital Space
While congratulations have flooded the couple’s comments sections from fellow influencers and fans alike, the fast-tracked wedding steps have sparked debates among internet commentators. Social media personality Ojaigho Prosper, known online as GehGeh, openly criticized the move on X (formerly Twitter). GehGeh argued that financial stability alone should not dictate early marriage, questioning if the young content creator is emotionally and mentally prepared for the lifetime commitment.
Despite the unsolicited pushback, the successful introduction in Benin City firmly cements the couple’s intentions, with fans eagerly anticipating the dates for their official white and traditional wedding ceremonies later this year.
