Root Causes and Security Failures
The Ojuromi highlighted that this incident underscores the failure of adequate security measures in Uromi and Esanland. Despite repeated calls for intervention from state and federal authorities, insecurity has continued to escalate in the region. Uromi, now a fast-growing city in southern Nigeria, faces increasing challenges due to population growth and criminal activities.

His Majesty emphasized the inadequacy of the current Uromi Divisional Police Station and called for immediate action:
- Establishment of a Rapid Response Team.

Appeal to Authorities
The Ojuromi urged the Federal Government to officially adopt Mobol Barracks, donated by Uromi residents, and called on the Edo State Government to facilitate approval for Esan MOPOL Barracks.
