Port Harcourt, Rivers State – March 31, 2025 – Sir Siminalayi Fubara today welcomed the Muslim community of Rivers State, represented by the Rivers State Council for Islamic Affairs, for a Sallah visit at his house.
The visit provided an opportunity for the community to offer prayers for the him and his family.
During the meeting, Sir Fubara expressed his gratitude for the visit and reiterated his administration’s unwavering faith in God and its commitment to building a prosperous future for Rivers State.
He assured the Muslim leaders of his dedication to fostering an inclusive society where religious freedom is upheld and justice prevails.
“We are committed to continue working to uphold a society where no one or any religion will be oppressed, as we stand for what is right and just,” Sir Fubara stated.
The Muslim community, in turn, expressed their unwavering support for Fubara’s administration and its initiatives. The visit underscored the importance of interfaith harmony and collaboration in promoting peace and development within the state.
