The delegation included Tunde Rahman and Fredrick Nwabufo.

Onanuga described Onwubuariri’s death as a loss that created a difficult vacuum.

He remembered him as a very good writer and a professional who contributed meaningfully to presidential events and communications.

Tunde Rahman also paid tribute to his colleague. He described Onwubuariri as a workaholic whose assignments consistently turned out well. Rahman used the occasion to remind media professionals of the importance of taking their health seriously.

That reminder gave the condolence visit another dimension.

Onwubuariri’s family also spoke during the condolence visit. His elder sister, Amarachi Nwanguma, thanked the presidential media team for standing with the family. She said the family would announce burial arrangements after consultations.

His eldest child, Adaora Onwubuariri, a Computer Science undergraduate, also expressed appreciation for the support. She said the response from his colleagues reinforced the family’s belief that her father had lived as a good man.
